Abstract global conference merch: 6 items, 690 units for a KBW side event
Instead of the usual conference merch, we proposed experimental items that would spark talk at the booth — 6 items, 690 units produced for a September 2025 KBW side event.

A global conference booth: filling it with merch no one else does
At a KBW (Korea Blockchain Week) side event drawing participants from around the world, Abstract needed to make its booth memorable. The problem: most conference merch looks alike. Items found at every booth — eco bags, ballpoint pens, stickers — make it hard to stand out among countless booths, and there was the constraint of preparing 6 items at once for the September event.
Rather than spreading open a catalog, O-SEAN first proposed "items no one else has done yet that make participants stop and look twice at the booth." We curated 6 items from the perspective of booth flow and what participants actually want to take home, and using multi-item parallel production and our sourcing network, made 690 units to match the event date.
As a result, 6 items totaling 690 units were delivered for the September 2025 KBW side event, securing a lineup that could create buzz at the booth. The heart of this case wasn't a simple order — it was the experience of "being proposed to." Even when the client hasn't decided everything to make, O-SEAN proposes new items fit for the event and resolves them into concrete products.
We wanted items that really stand out, and they recommended experimental, crazy items we'd never have thought of, which made running the event genuinely fun. They went beyond the basics and brought new ideas to us first, so the process was so easy and good. We'll definitely do it again at the next event!
