This is the story of a customer who ordered plush keyrings of their company's signature character. Before hitting the order button, their single biggest worry was "what if it doesn't come out right in real life?" But the first words out of their mouth after unboxing were "oh my, it's so cute!" Here is the interview, straight from someone who ordered and received them firsthand.

What led you to make plush keyrings, and how were they when you actually received them?
We wanted to make a piece of merch featuring our company's signature character, so we chose a plush keyring. Honestly, I had plenty of worries before ordering. I wasn't sure the cute feel we saw on screen would survive in the real thing.
But the moment we opened the box, the first thing anyone said was "it's so cute!" It's squishy and soft, so you keep reaching for it. Even though there were parts of my own drawing I wasn't fully happy with, the real-life quality was far higher than expected, and I was very satisfied.
How do the texture and fabric feel?
This is the part photos just can't capture. When you actually touch it, the texture is a work of art. Soft and plush, the kind that springs right back when you press it and let go. A keyring is something you hang on your bag and touch all the time, and I'd say this soft feel accounts for more than half of our overall satisfaction.

Weren't you worried the character would look awkward in 3D?
Exactly, that was my biggest concern. Turning a flat design into a three-dimensional plush means a 100% identical reproduction is hard to expect.
Thankfully, O-SEAN proposed the silhouette and shape that suit a plush keyring best before we started. Rather than transferring the character flat as-is, they adjusted the proportions into the form that looks cutest and most natural as a plush. Thanks to that careful expert advice, the result turned out far better than I had feared.

How about the lead time and minimum quantity?
It's fully customized production, so it took about 4 weeks to receive. It does take some waiting, but production starts from just 100 units, which was a perfect fit for a team like ours that needed a small batch.

What about the price, and would you reorder?
For this level of quality at this price, I think it's entirely reasonable. We were so happy with it that we went straight into a reorder. Once you've made one this nicely, you start wanting to make other characters too.
We made ours as company merch, but I saw plenty of people making them for university projects or pop-up stores as well. It was an experience that started light and ended on a high note, so if you're considering plush keyrings, I'd say go for it without hesitation!
