When preparing a kit for VIPs, the first question is what to put in it. You also need to think about packaging that suits the merch and how it will reach each recipient. Cobak's project started with a request to make a kit for their VIPs, and we worked together on everything from item suggestions to production and individual delivery.
Cobak chose a tumbler, a keyring, and stationery for taking notes, and prepared a box wrapped in a character sleeve. Producing several merch items together and getting them to each recipient involves a lot to keep track of. Before settling on specific items, Cobak started with O-SEAN by working through item suggestions for the VIP kit. O-SEAN suggested items, and the final lineup was decided through adjustments with Cobak. In this case, the client first shared the purpose of the kit, and we chose matching items together.
The finished kit included a tumbler, a keyring, and stationery for writing and taking notes. The kit also came with a box and sleeve. When you plan a kit for your own brand, let us know who it's for, its purpose, and your budget, and we can advise on product selection.
We need several kinds of merch. Can you help with production for all of them?
Cobak worked with O-SEAN on a kit of a tumbler, a keyring, and stationery, plus packaging. Cobak, a global IP company, and O-SEAN collaborated, and O-SEAN checked and handled each production request one by one. In this case, several items were brought together into one VIP kit and taken all the way through final production.

Can a plain box still carry the feel of a character kit?
Cobak wrapped a plain box with a colorful character sleeve to give the packaging a focal point. Characters in a variety of poses are laid out on a white sleeve that wraps around a brown box. You can see how the box and sleeve work together in the staged shot below.
Looking at the items inside the kit together with the outer packaging makes it easier to compare directions. You can also consider putting characters on a sleeve, as Cobak did. This packaging combines a plain box with a character sleeve, and does not assume any particular cost savings.
If recipients are in different regions, do you also check the delivery?
After final production, Cobak's VIP kits were shipped individually to multiple regions, and O-SEAN checked the deliveries directly. Rather than ending with a single drop-off after production, this project saw individual delivery through to completion.
