① T-shirt quality changed 2 weeks before the event
② Customs hold resolved 10 days before
③ Additional T-shirt order handled 3 days before

💡 The 4-week production and 3-day additional delivery are the record of this case. The same timeline is not guaranteed for other orders.

The event date was fixed, but things needed to change during production. That was the case with Superwalk’s 4th anniversary merch. While seven types were being prepared, from T-shirts and caps to bags, workout gear and stickers, a quality change, a customs hold and an additional order came one after another. On top of making the original lineup, the changed conditions had to be resolved within the event schedule.

In this Making Note, we look at how an order with different quantities per item was put together, and how we handled the three variables that came up ahead of delivery. If you are preparing several types of merch at once, or your quantities may change right up to the event, use the timing of each situation and our response as a reference.

Can I order items with different quantities together?

Superwalk’s order this time consisted of 150 T-shirts and 170 pcs each of six other items, for a total of 1,170 pcs across seven types. It was a repeat order following the acrylic keyrings, stickers and T-shirts we made for them in 2025. This time, a hip sack, massage balls, a tote bag, caps and sports towels were added to the T-shirts and removable stickers, broadening the range of items prepared together.

The lineup grew to include merch to wear, bags to carry belongings and gear for workouts, but the quantities were not made the same for every item. We kept the order at 150 T-shirts and 170 pcs of each other item while handling sample checks and delivery scheduling. It is a case where several items were ordered together, each in the quantity it actually needed.

What if you spot a T-shirt quality issue two weeks before the event?

The see-through issue with the white T-shirt was found two weeks before the event. Show-through when worn affects how the shirt feels to wear, regardless of the printed logo or design. With event preparation under way, the T-shirt quality had to be changed while also taking the remaining delivery schedule into account.

O-SEAN changed the T-shirt quality to address the see-through issue and went ahead with production. The changed T-shirts were also delivered in time for the event. The key to this response was that identifying the problem led to an actual quality change. With two weeks left before the event, the necessary fix was made and delivery was completed as well.

What happens when merch made overseas gets held at customs?

Ten days before the event, merch made in China was held at customs. Even though production was done, a stop at customs meant it could not be delivered. In this case, a trademark registration certificate needed to be verified, and with the event date close, getting the required document and passing it on quickly was what mattered.

O-SEAN received the trademark registration certificate from Superwalk, passed it on right away, and the customs hold was cleared. It was a process that connected the client’s documents with O-SEAN’s response as the party handling production and delivery. For this order, which included items made overseas, we kept delivery on track by handling not only the products but also the document check that came up during customs clearance.

Can I ask for more units three days before the event?

Three days before the event, Superwalk ordered an additional 30 T-shirts. More T-shirts were needed on top of the lineup already prepared, and there were only three days to receive the extra pieces. O-SEAN handled the additional order and delivered the 30 T-shirts in three days, covering the increased quantity right before the event.

When considering an additional order, it is important to check both the quantity you need and the date you actually need to receive it. Even for the same T-shirt, the possible schedule can vary with the order conditions and the time left. In the Superwalk case, the extra pieces requested three days before the event were delivered, but the schedule for a new order needs to be checked separately based on its own conditions.

Quality and quantities changed, but all seven types arrived on time

Superwalk’s 4th anniversary merch went through a four-week production period, and all seven types were delivered at the end of July 2026. Along the way came a T-shirt quality change two weeks before the event, a customs hold resolved ten days before, and an additional order three days before. The project ran from producing the original items to responding to conditions that changed right before the event.

The finished lineup included merch to wear, like T-shirts and caps, merch to carry belongings, like the tote bag and hip sack, and merch for workouts, like the massage balls and sports towel. The images below place these items in walking and running scenes. They were staged so you can see not only the full lineup together, but also how each piece is carried and used.
